Crave 4 More - Elegant by Design
Crave 4 More - is a customizable wordpress theme.
Having said that, I am not done yet.
Crave 4 More - attempts to bring a set of nice features, and you can dictate how it should behave.
Let me try to list out a few, so you can better appreciate the theme.
Here is a sample image from one of the 6 9 different styles it could have.

Crave 4 More - Theme Options Page
Once this theme is activated, you are presented with a new tab, called ‘Crave4More Theme Options’, right under the Presentation Menu.
You can customize your website, by changing the various options it shows. For example, you can turn on / off the navigational bar at the top., or you can set to ’show only excerpts on the home page’ etc
After changing the options, click on ‘Save Settings’, so we can remember what you picked. This information is stored in the same wordpress database and so even if you switch between multiple themes, your preferences for this theme are safely stored.
Click on the image below to see the options page in full screen.
Read below to understand each of those options.
Change the style
‘Crave 4 More’ is pre-loaded with six Nine different styles. Each one of them is so elegant and so you just pick one up randomly and ‘Save Settings’
Open up your site in a new window / tab and see how it looks.
If you are not satisfied, no-problem, just go to the options page again and choose a different style.
I tried to make this process easy for you, so I provided a little thumbnail image of the actual style, so you can remember which one you are choosing.

Nine Styles for one Theme ?
Yes. Absolutely.
You can choose anything from the 6 9 (Nine) options, and I might be adding something in future to this collection.
Have a look at these screenshots.
A slide show of C4M Styles will appear here shortly.
Page Navigation
All the main Pages you create with the wordpress, are automatically listed in the top navigation bar.
Added to that, It also shows which page you are currently browsing, by underlining it.
If you have created any sub pages, they get listed in the sidebar automatically, when you are viewing the main page of those sub pages.
You can decide if you want to show the top navigation or not. Check / UnCheck the box that says ‘Show Page Navigation at the top ?’
Full Post or just an excerpt ?
Some of you want to display, only the excerpts of the post on the home page, and let the user click on the post’s permalink, to read it in full.
So you want to be able to control that aspect of the post display. isn’t it ?
Ok. There is an option, in our theme’s options page, you can turn on / off.

Author Template
author.php found within the theme folder.
Do you want to display the author name on each of this post ?. Just check the box that says ‘Show Post Author on each post ?’
Turning it on, not only displays the author name, but also displays the name as a hyperlink, that leads to the Author’s Profile Page.
Here you can see the Author’s full name and other profile information, and a small text about him, followed by a list of posts that he / she has written.
The authors can modify all of this information, from their wordpress admin panel. (http:// your website name / wp-admin/ profile.php )
This is very much helpful, when you have multiple authors for your site.
The more times your name appears on the blog, search engines will tend to relate your name and your site more closely. so when someone types in your name in their google / yahoo search, there is a high chance that your site is shown in the top
The Date Format
This is another area, where the preference of each user, is different. It also depends on which country you are from. Some people prefer ‘month/day/year’ format and some people prefer ‘day/month/year’ format.
How cool will it be if you are able to control it, without even touching the code.
It also has a default date format, so even if you do not provide one, it will still display the date.

Recent Posts and Recent Comments
Want to display the list of recent posts and/or recent comments on the sidebar ?
You think you have to install some plugins to do that ?
NO. Those days are over. You just enter the number of posts and/or comments you want to list on the sidebar. Crave4More will take care of the rest !.

More Features from the Package !
Highlight the Author’s comments !!!
Just enter your name and email address, in the theme options page.
Any comment that has the same name and email address, will be highlighted. This way people can really focus into what your comments are, on a particular post.
If you are logged in to your wordpress site, and then comment on a post, wordpress automatically takes your name and email address. So just provide the same name and email address in the theme’s options page. your comments will automatically be highlighted.
Is it Magic or what ?
Oh…That whole sidebar thing ?
There are a couple of features in the sidebar, that I would like to highlight. You can choose to show or hide ‘the monthly archives’, ‘the categories’, ‘the meta content(like login, site admin etc)’. It now supports the sidebar widgets plugin also. Thats easy right ? Lets move on.
‘About’ Information
This theme displays the about information on the sidebar on the home page.
It basically displays the site-title, your tagline, followed by a text that says ‘There are {number of posts} posts and {number of comments} comments so far’.
Again, you can turn it on / off from the options page.

‘Author’ Information
This theme displays the site’s main author information on the sidebar on the home page.
You can write a small paragraph about yourself, and turn on the checkbox that says ’show author information on the home page’. Thats it.
As soon as someone enters your website, they must be made clear about what your website is, and who the author is. This helps in getting the right people to stick with your site.
Other Usual Features
404 - Not Found Page
404.php found in the theme folder.

Our theme provides one, which you can edit, to fit your needs.
Just to test drive this, click on a post in your website and then go ahead and make some spelling mistake in the URL in your address bar, and click enter.
